Love is in the Air at Disneyland Resort: Cast Members in Love

It’s not hard to find a good love story at the Disneyland Resort. Even some cast members find their future prince or princess while working at the “Happiest Place on Earth.” In honor of Valentine’s Day we asked two of these special cast couples to share their Disney love stories. Jim and Lee Lowman met at the Tahitian Terrace more than 35 years ago. Disneyland history buffs will remember the Terrace as the table-service restaurant once located next to The Enchanted Tiki Room, complete with hula dancers and fire dancers. Lee was a seasonal waitress at the time when Jim was assigned to the Terrace as a manager. Their easy-going friendship developed into something stronger in the tight-knit, bustling atmosphere of Tahitian Terrace. The two Disneyland Resort Golden Spirit Award winners have enjoyed 34 years of married life together and they agree that fellow cast members are like an extended family.
