Hotels-live.com - I've seen this stunning tree-lined road in photographs before and when we arrived at Point Reyes, which is an enormous spit of land jutting off the California coast, I had no idea whether we could find it or not. I think I had some misconceived notion that perhaps all roads on Point Reyes looked just like this. In reality, the area closer to the lighthouse (where this is) doesn't have a lot of trees and so this place sticks out "like a sore thumb."
