Hotels-live.com - Found out a crazy nature factoid while on our @RedJeepTours ride around the San Andreas Fault: it's actually one of the most naturally fertile areas in the whole of greater Palm Springs. But not in the way of rolling green fields or lush gardens. Instead, its about palm trees. We began to see them dotting the landscape in what looked like a line. When questioned, our guide explained that the palms are how you denote where the actual fault line is. With the activity beneath the earth's surface, water is forced to the surface in a relatively small amount all things considered, but enough that the palm trees can grow. This group of them forms a small oasis but otherwise they are seen, as in my last photo, as less of a group and more of a solo act! #PalmSpringsUSA #PoweredByLumia @Hotelslive by kirstenalana instagram.com/p/tA2RNPFyRc/ Follow #Instagram @Hotelspaschers instagram.com/hotelspaschers and @Voyageslive #Twitter #TeamFollowBack #kirstenalana #Voyage #Travel #TFB #FollowTrick www.facebook.com/125048940862168/photos/a.801752066525182... via Hotels-live.com www.facebook.com/pages/p/125048940862168 #Retweet #TeamFollowBack #F4F #TityFollowTrain via http://flic.kr/p/oXX9ny
