Since 2012, Refe Tuma (@refetuma) and his wife Susan from Kansas City, Missouri, have turned November into “Dinovember” (@dinovember), using toy dinosaurs to create and photograph imaginative scenarios for their children. “It's like Christmas everyday,” says Refe. “We started to see our kids were looking forward to coming downstairs—and then instead of just flopping in front of the TV, they would start playing.” What started as a way to make their children smile caught the attention of the wider Instagram community, who now participate using the #dinovember hashtag.
