Chef Ned has been named Chef of the Year at the 27th Annual Pinnacle Awards for his “profound impact on how chefs and Canadian consumers perceive seafood.” In 2014, Chef Ned biked more than 8,700 kilometres (5,400 miles) from Canada's east coast back west to Vancouver on a 72-day journey to raise awareness for the importance of sourcing, serving and eating sustainable seafood.
