Hotels-live.com - “There’s something pretty amazing about light that’s left another galaxy, travelled through space for 15 million years and then hits the back of your eye or camera sensor,” says Hugh Carrick-Allan (@astro_hugh), describing his fascination with astrophotography. Although he was intrigued with the night sky at an early age, Hugh didn’t point a camera at the stars until about eight years ago. By day, Hugh is a visual effects artist living in Sydney, Australia. At night, he uses professional astrophotography gear like telescopes and high-sensitivity digital cameras to take stellar shots of the galaxy, Saturn and Eagle Nebula being his favorite subjects. “I feel humbled by the scale of it all,” says Hugh, adding that there’s something very relaxing about astrophotography. “There’s no rush to see and capture it all.” Photo by @astro_hugh @Hotelslive by instagram instagram.com/p/zIhovthQQP/ Follow instagram @Hotelspaschers instagram.com/hotelspaschers and @Voyageslive #Twitter #TeamFollowBack #Instagram #Voyage #Travel #TFB #FollowTrick www.facebook.com/125048940862168/photos/a.801853623181693... via Hotels-live.com www.facebook.com/pages/p/125048940862168 #Retweet #TeamFollowBack #F4F #TityFollowTrain via http://flic.kr/p/qVfzEe
