Cultures combine here in Central Durban where not far from the mosque you’ll find worshippers of a different faith at the Emmanuel Catholic Cathedral, people buying traditional medicines at the Zulu Muthi market, and vendors selling incense and piles of colorful Indian spices at the Victoria Street Market. From previous trips to #SouthAfrica, I knew about some of the country’s rich multicultural heritage, but news to me was that #Durban is home to one of the largest concentrations of Indians outside of India.
