Comparateur de voyages http://www.hotels-live.com/ : Photo by @carltonward // (7 of 8) I went to Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge, deep in the heart of the South Florida wilderness, to try to photograph the elusive Florida panther. To do so, I set a camera trap in the northern reaches of the Fakahatchee Strand forest. The camera was active for one month before summer rains flooded the camera site. During that time, it took photos of a panther walking in the other direction, two alligators, a snake, raccoons and a possum. The camera trap also captured this Florida black bear just as he broke the infrared trip wire to take his own picture. To lean how I made this photo read the #OnAssignment blog in my profile link @CarltonWard. And please stay tuned the rest of today for more #FloridaWild. #NatGeoTravelStories // Follow along this weekend as @mattmoyerphoto and @carltonward share photographs from their recent assignment in Florida.
