But I was so happy to get this shot of the antlers in the mist and the tree line in the distance. Pictured here: The reindeer are moving as a herd through deep snow for several days in Laponia, Sweden (a UNESCO World Heritage site). It’s the annual spring-winter migration, and the animals are leaving the winter grounds to go to the calving grounds in the mountains. Traveling with them, but not pictured, are the Saami herders.
