While at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta in previous years, I noticed the shadows of people walking between the balloons. On my next visit at the Balloon Fiesta, I chose a brightly colored balloon, then spent a half hour with the crew getting to know them. The pilot and owner of the balloon allowed me to go into the balloon as it was being filled (by a huge fan) and while I was inside the crew went around to the side to push the sides of the balloon up so that it would inflate faster.
